The Human Chain Reactions Programme for Innovation

Create a community of change makers to embed a culture for transformation and innovation

A complete programme to develop creativity and innovation change makers – bring together peers from across the whole organisation to create a community of creativity and innovation experts.

Is it the right programme for you?

Your organisation is on a journey to release the creativity and innovation of your workforce. You know you need to develop deep expertise and competence across the company to support ambitious strategic aims. People need to think a little differently. Teams need to interact and learn from one another. Leaders need the abilities to manage meetings and workshops to tackle new opportunities and to push for continuous improvements.

But do you have the skillsets embedded throughout?
Do you have expert change makers who can set off the chain reactions of ideas that lead to a thriving culture?
What is The Human Chain Reaction Programme?

Put simply, it’s about stimulating creativity, generating ideas, driving transformation and embedding innovation right at the heart of everything you do. The participants in this programme will play a significant role in shaping the environment and role modelling the behaviours that will start the ‘ideas’ chain reactions in your organisation. A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step. You know that carefully curating a culture where sustainable high-performance is achieved through creativity and innovation is not going to be fixed by just an away day, an updated mission or an inspirational speaker. You know there is no ‘magic bullet’ for shaping a creativity and innovation culture. A systematic and strategic approach is what is required.

Creativity and innovation skills and behaviours are unique. They don’t come naturally to everyone and can take huge energy and focus. You’re probably leading at least one people related change project or programme that demands you think ‘outside of the box’. Unfortunately, the complexity and velocity of change today means the box could be a completely different shape to how it started out or not a box at all! So how do we manage that?

Our default when planning a new piece of work or leading a process of change is often to surround ourselves with people we know will ‘get things done’. How often do we deliberately go out of our way to seek a perspective that we don’t know or one that is likely to challenge our own? How often do we take someone from a very different role and team and assign them briefly to another with the sole purpose of looking at a complex issue through a completely different lens? Like many, the answer is probably nowhere near often enough. Because we are consistently operating under such time pressures, there’s simply not the space. In this time of change and transformation – whether that be us proactively preparing for the future or reacting to immediate challenges - the capability and capacity of our workforce for creative thinking and innovative action is going to be put to the test.

But how?

The ‘Chain Reaction’ Programme is designed specifically for those organisations that genuinely want to do things differently, see things differently, deliver things differently and are ready to embrace the thinking, behaviours and skills needed to make that happen right from senior leadership to those on the front line. It will take a flexible, whole organisational approach to releasing the creativity and innovation potential of the entire workforce. Founded on a scientific approach, you will go on a journey that creates and sustains an organisational climate where challenge of the status quo, generation and testing of new ideas and learning from mistakes is just part of business as usual. Most importantly the programme will enable you to lead your organisation to be creative and innovate where and when it matters most and as a result see real impactful change
